From Generation to Generation
The story of Oros Machaira honey goes back to 1983, when Michalis Filippou began beekeeping together with his brother-in-law, Costas Chimonas, starting with five hives given to them by Costas’s father. For some 30 years they worked side by side, driven by a love of nature, of bees and of everything the hive produces.
Once their children had grown up, they decided it would be best for everyone if each family followed its own path. The sons of Michalis Filippou have today taken the reins of the company, which produces the full range of bee products, packages them and brings them to market under the Oros Machaira brand.
